New Govt. to use Fintech for flagship programmes: Amitabh Kant

By  —  Shyamal Sinha

Use of financial technology (Fintech) revolution for achieving greater financial and insurance inclusion, besides lifting people above the poverty line would be amongst the biggest agenda of the Narendra Modi 2.0 government, NITI Aayog CEO, Mr Amitabh Kant said at an ASSOCHAM Conference in New Delhi .

Sharing his outlook at the ASSOCHAM Fintech Summit: “Emerging Technologies disrupting the Financial Sector”, Mr Kant said India is the third largest and one of the fastest growing FinTech markets globally, attracting about  USD 6 bn in investments since 2014. Industry reports estimate that India’s total FinTech software and services market is expected to grow to ~USD 13bn  with the software market alone set to  touch USD 2.4 bn by 2020.

The transaction value for the Indian fintech sector which was approximately USD33 billion in 2016 is slated to reach USD73 billion in 2020, growing at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 22%. The most dominant theme of India’s FinTech growth is the Digital Payments space, market size of which is expected to reach US$1 trillion by 2023 from the current market size of USD 200 bn.  As much as USD 1 Trillion, or 60% of retail and SME credit, will be digitally disbursed by 2029, said Mr. Kant. ASSOCHAM President Mr B K Goenka agreed with the NITI Aayog CEO, stating the Fintech can meet a huge untapped demand in areas, where the traditional delivery channels were unable to reach.

In his inaugural speech, Mr Kant said  the government has played the role of an active enabler for the FinTech industry by disrupting payments. IndiaStack – through its 4 layers viz. Consent (permission), Cashless (UPI, Payments Bridges and Systems), Paperless (digital locker and digital signature) and Presence-less (Authentication through Aadhaar), has powered the growth of FinTech startups. Government, in collaboration with the industry, has built the world’s most advanced payment system, Unified Payments Interface.

The Unified Payments Interface –has taken less than 8 months to reach US$1bn in transactions, fastest ever globally by any financial product.  In addition to Bhim, UPI has empowered several private payment systems like Paytm, GPay, Mobiwkik, PhonePe and Whatsapp. With UPI, you can transfer money in India,  just as exchanging a message on Whatsapp.  The numbers that have been achieved using UPI are truly phenomenal, said CEO, NITI Aayog.

FinTech industry can meet India’s unique needs (viz. financial inclusion, access to credit, limited insurance reach etc.) and can also serve as the solution provider of choice for global financial sector (viz. leadership in RegTech, capital markets Fintech infrastructure and offshore hub for global banks’.

The financial industry is seeing three major trends globally a) Disintermediation at all levels of the value chain and the rise of P2P business models, b) The development of unique payment interfacesand c) use of advanced data techniques and AI for highly personalized financial services.

The applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in data analytics and customer service create the opportunity for exponentially more personalized and faster customer experiences, significantly better insights, and, automation of back-end workflows. Typical use cases of AI include customer acquisition, KYC and on boarding, Accounts and Loans, Customer Service, Brand Management and Risk & Credit.

Blockchain technology’s power to disintermediate opens the door to a host of use cases, especially in the insurance and P2P lending models.Globally as well as in India models . He also said   NITI Aayog’s FinTech Conclave, organized on 25th March 2019, was aimed at discussing India’s existing capabilities in FinTech, and the impediments faced by the industry, and build the narrative for future strategy and policy efforts, and to deliberate steps for comprehensive financial inclusion. More than 250 thought leaders from banks, insurance companies, startups, investment community, central and state governments, ecosystem enablers and regulators were engaged in the discussion across five tracks like Digital on boarding of Customers/Merchants for Financial Inclusion, Building Financial Products for Bharat and Millennial India; Emerging Areas of FinTech; Fast Tracking Investments in FinTech Industry; and Financial Inclusion of MSMEs.

ASSOCHAM, being India’s Apex Chamber for Commerce and Industry, has always been the front-runner in promoting various technologies in the country and trying to understand how these technologies can be leveraged for the country’s growth and make India globally more competitive.   This Summit is another step in the same direction, said Mr. Goenka.

Others who also spoke during the conference were Mr. Sunil Mahta, Chairman, Indian Banks Association and M.D. & CEO, Punjab National Bank, Mr Vivek Belgavi, Partner, India FinTech Leader, PwC India, Dr. Lavneesh Chanana, Chairman, ASSOCHAM National Council on IT/ITes & e-Commerce and Mr S.C. Aggarwal, CMD, SMC Global Securities.

Kejriwal Government had promised to turn Delhi into London-Paris but he has betrayed the people of Delhi – Manoj Tiwari

By  —  Shyamal Sinha

Shri Manoj Tiwari has said that Kejriwal has become the enemy of Delhi by not implementing the welfare schemes made by Central. Lakhs of people all over the country are getting the benefits of free medical treatment up to 5 lakh rupees under Aayushman Bharat Scheme but Kejriwal has not implemented it in Delhi and playing with the heath of people. This scheme could have proved to be a boon for the poor people living in Jhuggi Bastis, but Kejriwal Government did not understand the pains of the poor people.

Shri Tiwari said that by failing to implement Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna in Delhi, Kejriwal has shown its anti people attitude. Had Kejriwal been serious about providing houses to the people of Delhi then lakhs of people would have been allotted houses but due to its anti people attitude Kejriwal Government in place of allotting houses, it is spending lakhs of rupees on their maintenance.

Shri Tiwari further said that he had promised Electric Buses, Marshals in Buses, Installing CCTV Cameras but could not fulfill these promises in these five years. In order to mislead the people of Delhi this party spoke a new lie every day. Allegations of corruption and other crimes have been made against the leaders and Ministers of Aam Aadmi Party. Some of the Ministers and MLAs have been found to be involved in crime against women but even today the Aam Aadmi Party claims to be clean and honest and is wasting crores of rupees on advertisements to cover up its failures. Kejriwal Government has promised to turn Delhi into London-Paris but he has betrayed the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi will give a befitting to the Aam Aadmi Party by voting for BJP in the next Assembly Elections and form BJP Government with full majority.

The people of Delhi are working in the new mood in which “Desh me Modi, Dilli Me Bhajpa, Tabhi Banegi Baat, Dilli Chale Modi Ke Saath” – Manoj Tiwari

By  —  Shyamal Sinha

Shri Manoj Tiwari  commenting upon the Nakaampanthi said that Kejriwal is King Nakaampanthi and in February 2020, a Movie will be released named as ‘Ek Tha Kejriwal’.  of the electorate of Delhi has made BJP win all the seven seats in Delhi,  this shows that people of Delhi have rejected the politics of deceit and lies done by the Nakaampanthi Government, Delhi people only want to have the politics of development in Delhi.  Not only did this Nakampanthi Government stop the development work in Delhi, but also they stopped the development works of the Central Government and thereby tried to harm the interest of the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi have given the reply of this by voting for the BJP firstly in the MCD elections and now in the Lok Sabha elections. The populace of Delhi had showed their trust to words Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. People have chosen the biggest Democratic party of the world and showed the confidence towards Shri Narendra Modi being the prime minister of the country.

Shri Tiwari said that this according to these Nakampanthi the MCD elections are small elections and Lok Sabha elections are big elections. They have been defeated in both these elections and further in the Delhi elections there would be a government of the BJP as people want education, health ,transportation facilities, control in traffic and pollution and other services. These all things would only be possible if a single party holds the government on all the three levels. Whenever a discussion is held over this Nakaampanthis, the dictatorship attitude and behavior repels the people of Delhi from them. These are the people who came into politics to remove the corruption from the society and had demanded for the Janlokpal but when they came into the power they didn’t complete even a single work to improve to the development process and the structural organization of Delhi, they then resorted to the blame game to hide the in capabilities.

Shri Tiwari said that these people used all the pessimist premises to get the power in Delhi. They aimed to malign the image of BJP candidates but the people of Delhi are intelligent enough and they gave a befitting reply to them on 12th May when they voted in huge numbers. This Nakaampanthi have become a curse for the people of Delhi and still they don’t stop patting the backs. For the past four years they have deteriorated the education organisation and they have only done the politics based on religion and caste. They have always neglected the majority to look forth the minority. The people of Delhi would vote against these people who do the politics based on religion and caste.

Shri Tiwari said that the people of Delhi have made their mind that in the forthcoming legislative elections they would wipe out these Nakampanthis from the power in Delhi and elect the BJP, so that the development work could be carried out in Delhi. The people of Delhi are working in the new mood in which “Desh me Modi, Dilli Me Bhapa, Tabhi Banegi Baat, Dilli Chale Modi Ke Saath”. The Central Government has done a lot of works for Delhi including 46,000 crore to Delhi to help Delhi get rid of traffic and pollution. Including in this were Rajmarg 709 B, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Western Peripheral Expressway, and Dhaula Kuan flyover to solve the problem of traffic in Delhi.

In 2014 Modi ji was a hope for the Indians and in 2019 he became the belief for the 130 crore Indians – Manoj Tiwari

By  —  Shyamal Sinha

Shri Manoj Tiwari, Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk Dr Harsh Vardhan, Member of Parliament from North West Shri Hans Raj Hans, Member of Parliament from the West Delhi Shri Pravesh Verma and Member of Parliament from East Delhi Shri Gautam Gambhir today had a combined press conference over the historic victory on the seven seats in these 2019 General Elections. In this press conference Union Minister Shri Vijay Goel, Lok Sabha election co-incharge of BJP Delhi Shri Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya,  Leader of Opposition in Delhi Vidhan Sabha Shri Vijendra Gupta,  BJP Delhi General Secretary Shri Rajesh Bhatia, State Vice President Shri Rajiv Babbar, Shri Abhay Verma & Smt Monika Pant, Treasurer Shri Vishnu Mittal, Media Prabhari Shri Pratyush Kanth, Media Co-Incharge Shri Neelkant Bakshi, Media Head Shri Ashok Goel Devraha and State Spokesperson and other esteemed members were present.

While addressing the media the BJP Delhi president and Member of Parliament from the Northeast Delhi Shri Manoj Tiwari said that the mandate given by the people for the 2019 elections is historic and for that he is proud of the Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi and the karyakarta who gave their effort. People of India have given a bigger mandate in 2019 than what was given in 2014. In 2014 Modi ji was a hope for Indians and in 2019 he became the belief for the 130 crore Indians. Last time too we had won all the seven seats in Delhi and despite all the negative efforts made by the opposition yet again we in Delhi have won seven seats again and have chosen Shri Narendra Modi again the prime minister of India. The credit for this victory goes to BJP Delhi Office Bearers, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents, Panna Pramukh and all the BJP Karyakartas.

Shri Tiwari said media did a fearless, impartial and a splendid work in these elections for which he thanks them all. In Delhi the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress spread confusion between the electorate by giving the pamphlets which said that Shri Narendra Modi is anyways winning and whether or not if they lose this one seat it won’t matter that much. For the Delhi BJP the election fervor has not ended, after six months for the beliefs and hopes of Delhi, we have started our work from this very moment. We make Delhi the best of it. In the Lok Sabha elections we have won 65 Vidhan Sabha seats and after six months we will repeat this gesture and will win the Delhi assembly. Kendra me Modi, Delhi me Bhajpa, Tabhi Banegi Baat, Delhi chale Modi ke saath.

Union Minister and the Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that this was his seventh election and for past 25 years the people of Delhi have given immense love and support to him for which he is really thankful to the Delhi people. The karyakartas of the ideological family of the BJP have given their sweat and blood for the election. People of all classes in Delhi, like the street vendors, labourers and social institutions have given their complete support to Modi ji and have re elected Shri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. For the first time in the history of this nation government has been formed that forms the schemes and then implements those as well. Seeing the exemplary work done by Shri Narendra Modi seven countries of the world have given the highest civilian award of their country to Shri Narendra Modi ji. All of us seven MPs take an oath to work towards the vision of Narendra Modi that he had taken in 2017 for the new India,  we will all work together to fulfil that mission . Aam Aadmi Party had declared candidates from 6 to 9 months before the elections and they had started off with the election campaign. Despite that the people of Delhi have rejected the lies of this party and made the Aam Aadmi Party lose its deposit on few seats. Though there is not a BJP government in Delhi yet the central government has given 46,000 crore for the development work to reduce the pollution and traffic problems in Delhi.

Thanking the karyakartas of the East Delhi member of Parliament Shri Gautam Gambhir said that the Aam Aadmi Party had put allegations on him when he was just 15 days old in the politics now he’s a month old in politics, but he would tell the CM of Delhi Kejriwal that the elections would come and go and the country would keep rising but in politics if you lose Imaan and Zameer, it would not come back and for the same very reason the people of East Delhi have given Kejriwal the necessary reply and made me win. The country has risen over the negative mindset and they don’t want politics on the basis of religion or caste , they want it on the basis of development and they see this development under the leadership of Shri Narender Modi.

While putting off winning patka on all the candidates the member of the Parliament from the west Delhi Shri Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma said the Delhi is like mini India because people of every religion live here and the result of Delhi show the result of India.  The people of Delhi want us and that’s why they have voted for us. Now we have to work hard for the next six months and make the people of Delhi realize that if a same party rules at all the three level, then all the works could be easily done. Aam Aadmi Party spent 526 crore rupees every year for false advertisements and we the karyakartas of Delhi BJP have to make aware the people of Delhi of this fact. With splendid efforts of the karyarkarta and the love and support of the people of Delhi I have won this seat with a record margin and I am really thankful to the people for the same.

The Member of Parliament for North West Delhi Shri Hans Raj Hans said that he won because of the love he got from the people. He said that the Prime Minister Sh Narender Modi and BJP National President Shri Amit Shah have reposed faith in him, and the people have given it a stamp of democracy. He said that is thankful for the same to the people of Delhi. Seven seats of Delhi are like “Saat Swar” of the Sargam.  We are ready to serve the people of Delhi. Under the leadership of PM Narender Modi historic works have been done in last 5 years, people of the country have re elected Shri Modi as the Prime Minister of the country for the same .

The sequence of victory of the Lok Sabha will continue till the victory of the Assembly elections as well, the BJP workers will not take rest – Manoj Tiwari

By  —  Shyamal Sinha

After the BJP’s historic win in 7 Loksabha Seats of Delhi in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Delhi BJP PresidentShri Manoj Tiwari said that the people of the country and the people of Delhi have made the right decision by choosing the Bharatiya Janata Party. The people of Delhi rejected the propaganda spread by negative forces and voted in the national interest by adopting the nationalist ideology and re-elected Shri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. He said we will win 60 seats in forthcoming Assembly Elections.

Shri Tiwari said that the sequence of victory of the Lok Sabha will continue till the victory of the Assembly elections as well. The BJP workers will not take rest. Kejriwal has not implemented the public welfare Central Government Schemes in Delhi. Kejriwal did not fulfill what he had promised to the people of Delhi. BJP workers would go door-to-door and expose Kejriwal. He said that people in Delhi now want change. Kejriwal is completely decimated as the BJP has won the Lok Sabha with the overwhelming majority. The people of Delhi will also wipeout the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the forth coming Assembly Elections.

Shri Tiwari said that the Kejriwal has disappointed the people of Delhi during last 4.5 years in the name of development. By doing negative politics and stopping the constructive policies of the Central Government, Kejriwal has become the biggest enemy of the people of Delhi.  Kejriwal Government has totally ignored the development of Delhi and only done politics of lies and answer for the same has been given by the people of Delhi who have made the AAP lose badly throughout the Delhi.

Shri Tiwari said that in order to make pollution free Delhi and smooth traffic system, the work of Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Western Peripheral Expressway, Meerut Expressway, Dhaula Kuan Flyover Delhi, National Highway 709B via North East Delhi has been planned by the Central Government and by seeing the public welfare development policies of Central Government like extension of Metro all over Delhi and other government policies, the people of Delhi have given their mandate and reposed their faith in BJP by re-electing Shri Narender Modi as Prime Minister of the Country.
